Our Story
The Realty Advisory is owned and operated by John T. Shields, who began his real estate career in 1982 as a residential broker in Centerville, Massachusetts. After founding Shields, Chasson & Associates, he built one of the premier Mid-Cape brokerages and developed a deep interest in commercial real estate.
During the 1990s, John joined Realty Executives in Hyannis, where he built a strong reputation as one of Southeastern Massachusetts’ most respected commercial real estate brokers. His client list includes some of the most notable corporate and developer clients both regionally and nationally. In 2011, TRA relocated to its current Centerville headquarters to expand its vision of becoming a premier commercial real estate services firm.
